What does it mean when it says something is on reserve in the library catalog?

Answer

When you see that something is on reserve, that means that a professor has set it aside for a particular class. An item on reserve has a limited check out time which may be for either 1, 3, 5, or 24 hours; 3 or 5 days.

To find out what a professor has on reserve, search by professor in the library catalog for reserves.

Reserve items are available at the front desk on the main floor of the library.
