How do I renew a book?

Answer

You have several options for renewing your books.
 
  • You can call the circulation department and renew over the phone. (931) 598-1664
  • You can renew them from our library website:  library.sewanee.edu - then choose "My Library" from the very top right side of the screen (up in the photo of the library - the banner)
    • Log in to My Library 
      •  User name = your first and last name
      •   Password = the barcode number on your Sewanee ID/library card
    • Select the books you want to renew and click to renew them.
  • You can bring your books to the circulation desk to have them renewed there.
One caveat: If any of the books happen to be overdue, then you may not be able to renew on the website.
