The first part of this answer is to look up the book in our library catalog: https://library.sewanee.edu/library

• You can search by the title, author, or find a book on a certain topic with a keyword search.

When you find the book, notice this information: location, call number, and availability.

• The location will tell you which area of the library it is in.

• The call number will direct you to the section and shelves it will be in.

• If it says "Available" it should be on the shelf. If it has a date, it is checked out.
